Inspired by Rachel's RPAD.

Posting a photo a day using the Helga effect in the CameraBag app on my iPhone.
Derek's Helga A Day
January 1, 2010
I went bushwalking with Kat this afternoon/evening. I took her on a trail the width of a single lane road — which I’ve walked down many times.
At one point she decided to take us down a narrow trail in to areas I’d never been before. Luckily we followed the river and I knew where the river leads to, so we were pretty save.
Although, it began to get dark and we’d gone too far to turn around and head back, so I looked at Google Maps on my iPhone. No, I didn’t jaw reception down in this valley of thick bushland. But, miraculously, the maps that I had previously been looking were saved and we were heading in the correct direction.
We made it back to a big main path by nightfall, and back up to suburban streets by the time the last orangeness was fading from the sunset.
What a trek!!
